What is shame here to teach you? To run?
Hide?
Get dark and angry?
Defensive?
Closed off?
Disconnected?
Disassociated?
Numb? Shame can teach you to sit in silence.
To feel.
To witness.
To hold space for the memories of painful moments. Except this time you don’t run.
You stay.
You see.
You feel.
You allow shame to be here in all its fullness of this re-awakening power and conscious awareness. You rewrite the story of your life into acceptance, forgiveness, worthiness, openness and lightness. You can see that in this dark, dense, heavy chamber you can finally find something that feels tender, taste sweeter, looks more hopeful, as you begin to open your eyes more to the darkness of all that hasn’t been true about you. In your woundedness you find wholeness. In the curse you see and you sing the verse of your healing song of liberation into what you have always deserved and you have always been worthy of ~ YOU! To be loved and cherished by you and by the rivers of light, surging through your activated veins. You become the healing medicine for shame in others. You become the light to guide the darkness in her transmission of healing. With devotion you bow to the endless love of the holy mother. With faith you reach to the infinite love of the holy father. With truth you find all the things about who you have always been. You begin to live it anew. Whole and holy.
